Whitefriars Early 1970's Frigger 9728 Elephants Foot Lampbase in Desirable Tangerine - designed by Geoffrey Baxter.
One of a kind original 1960's Frigger 9728 Elephants Foot Lampbase - standing at a huge 13 inches tall!
This has been fully tested as original and contains traces of uranium in the clear glass when viewed under UV light.
Bought from Mr Stanley Cousins - ex-whitefriars employee, and Servitor to Ray Annenberg during the 1970's, Stanley is also a member of the Whitefriars Glass Facebook Group where he has confirmed the provenance of this piece, which is searchable.
This was made for fun and never intended for sale, it came out of the backdoor having been made on lunch-break and is almost certainly one of a kind and unique. A frigger made by Stanley in the early 1970's.
An Impressive piece based on a known design which adds colour and retro style to any display.
Excellent condition with no obvious damage, the odd light surface mark from 50 years of wear and tear, and some base wear from movement as should be expected.
The pinnacle of any whitefriars tangerine collection.
Produced in the early 1970's.
Approximately 13 inches Tall.
