Whitefriars 1980 Mega Rare Architectural Slab in FLC Sky Blue A substantial and heavy piece in the larger 7 x 7 inch size from Whitefriars made in one of the most elusive colourways, a real rarity with solid direct provenance. The slab was bought directly from Cathy Zeal. The Zeal family owned the Whitefriars factory when it closed in 1980 and they are known to have kept and collected a lot of rare and unusual pieces, including friggers and the vast majority of the “number 1” limited edition paperweights. This slab is always going to be a very rare and valuable piece with solid traceable provenance and will only increase in value. Very good condition with no damage, the usual creases and striations present from production that you would expect to find in the large slabs. Only produced for a very short period of time before the factory was closed in 1980 and never cataloged. We offer FREE POSTAGE to the UK on all orders over £100
